The Day of Miraculous Manifestations – Chotrul Duchen
Tuesday 3rd March 10.30am
It commemorates the period when Gautama Buddha performed miracles to inspire faith and subdue wrong views.
Chotrul Duchen falls on the 15th day of the first lunar month on the full moon.
It is considered a merit multiplying day, when karmic results of actions are greatly increased.
Geshe Tharchin will give the background stories of Buddhas life and the special significance of this day.
Followed by Sutra reading and lunch.
