DESCRIPTION:  \nPublic Talk – Modern Science meets Buddhist Mindfulness \nPublic Talk is held at Chandrakirti Centre – 289 Sunrise Valley Rd\, Upper Moutere. \nPublic Event – Thursday 23rd October\, at 6pm \nAn evening with special guest Geshe Thupten Chodak from Sera Je Monastery. \nHow does modern Science explore the nature of reality? \nWhat insights does Buddhism offer on mind and consciousness? \nCan ancient wisdom and cutting edge research illuminate each other? \nA special evening of dialogue with Lharampa Geshe Thubten Chodak from Sera Je Monastic Institute\, South India. \nWe will be exploring the science of the mind through dialogue with a highly trained Geshe Chodak\, who has specialised in setting up the science and mind courses for monastic monks at Sera Je Monastery.
