Vajrayogini is the enlightened manifestation of the transformation of desire emotional energy, she is a female Buddha. This practice strongly emphasizes wisdom and is especially potent in our degenerating times.
As a result of his lengthy training with many renowned lineage masters he mastered the five canons and earned the title of pandita. From 1965 till 1985 he remained in solitary retreat for nineteen years in Lhasa. In 1985 he travelled to India. At the request of the Dalai Lama he continues to teach in Sera Monastery, his own center in California, and around the world."
H. E. CHODEN RINPOCHE was born in 1931, in Tibet. He was officially recognised by Reting Rinpoche and took novice ordination from Pabonkha Rinpoche. He joined Sera Jé Monastery and while mastering the twenty-five year course of study he became an outstanding student of H.E. Trijang Rinpoche, Pabongkha Rinpoche, and numerous other prominent lamas.
At the request of Kyabje Lama Zopa Rinpoche , Ven Choden Rinpoche now travels to centres all over the world inspiring the practice of Mahayana Buddhism in the minds of thousands of students.
Kyabje Choden Rinpoche has a profound understanding and depth of insight into the Vajrayana teachings and with peerless and compassionate conduct, Rinpoche bestows incredible blessings on his students.
Cost is $ 550 for the initiation and retreat, 2 day initiation is $ 250. Accommodation is an additional cost.
Bookings essential. Previous experience and prerequisites for highest yoga tantra initiations apply, please give us a call for all queries. Participants need to have had a previous HYT initiation. The lifelong committment is recitation of the short sadana of Vajrayogini with some mantra recitation daily.
We can offer you accommodation in a nearby holiday house sharing with other participants for $50 per night. Your own room will be $100 per night.
