This practice is done twice a month on the Tibetan 10th and
25th (tsog days). It is the offering to the lama and the
special devotional practice of the Gelugpa tradition. It
includes a beautiful and poetic overview of the Graduated
Path to Enlightenment. Participants get to take home some of
the many offerings of food. We also offer tea and make
special dedications during the puja.

Medicine Buddha Puja gives great benefit to those suffering
from mental or physical illness as well as from natural
disasters or poverty. It also helps prevent these situations
from happening to ourselves and protect those we love. The
practice includes meditation, offering practice,
prayers, mantra recitation and special dedications.

Stupa's are traditional Buddhist monuments that represent
the enlightened mind of the Buddha. Inside are precious
relics and sacred texts. Making offerings such as water,
light and flowers creates huge amounts of good karma,
positive mental energy!
Please come along and help Venerables Youdon and Yonten, our
resident nuns, make offerings at the Stupa. Lunch is

Tara, the mother of all the Buddhas, is a manifestation of
compassionate activity. She is particularly helpful in
emergencies and difficult situations. This monthly
puja involves chanting praises to the 21 Taras and making
mandala offerings. It is an excellent practice for removing
negativities and obstacles. You can dedicate the puja to
friends, relatives, the sick, or the success of a business
or a particular project.
